Bringing together experts from around the country, this activity will offer insight into a variety of important clinical insights about celiac disease and provide highlights of the most current information by experts in the field. It will provide updates about potential new therapies and the research supporting their use, and it will educate participants about the future of this disease so they can provide better care to their patients throughout the entire care continuum.

Target Audience
This activity is designed for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, researchers, other healthcare professionals, and patients dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of celiac disease.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Discuss the evidence-based approach to diagnosing and managing celiac disease;
- Identify complexities of celiac and other autoimmune diseases that make alternative therapies challenging;
- Describe treatment plans for other autoimmune diseases that are closely associated with celiac disease;
- Recognize new advances in predicting celiac disease, type 1 diabetes, and other endocrine disorders;
- State why a gluten-free diet is a critical component of celiac disease treatment;
- Discuss neurological symptoms of celiac disease and how they affect patients;
- Explain the impact of celiac disease on family members;
- Examine how celiac disease affects the social and emotional development of pediatric patients.
