DO NOT USE this service at all. I am not sure why they are still around. Ordered a book for rent and wasn’t told that this would include a recurring charge as other rentals with other companies are a one time payment. Chegg refused to cancel the order even though UPS clearly confirmed that the seller can to a delivery intercept. Terrible company, please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

PriceReliability

Waste of money! I gave it a try with a couple of subscriptions to make sure that I am not judging fast. But it is truly waste of money. Very dumb answers to all the questions and completely unreliable. I am not sure how they quote them as expert answers.

I wish I had seen all of these because I wouldn’t have if I knew. My sister needed help with an accounting class she was taking but changed majors in February so no longer needed the services. Last Friday, May 3, we were out of town traveling and I got a bank notification that my $21.35 Chegg purchase was approved! I go into my app and in my transaction history to find two additional drafts from Chegg in March!!!! One from March 1 and one from March 29th. I called my bank on Friday to dispute the transactions, so they’re in talks with the company. It is disgusting how their deceptive business practices are taking advantage of these students.

Wrong answers costing me very precious points on my classes. Waste of money, do not buy, they do not check to and make sure answers are correct. Says expert verified but is still wrong, so can't trust this website.

Price

Chegg had almost all the answers for my questions but 75% of them were wrong. I got less score using Chegg than taking the exam by my own even without studying. Trust yourself and study. Does not worth it at all.

Reliability

I was initially excited about using Chegg for study assistance, as it appeared to offer a wide range of solutions. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. I found that few questions had answers available, and most of the provided solutions were incorrect. I generated by an AI, which made me question the uniqueness and reliability of the help provided. In the end, I felt that using other available AI tools or educational resources could potentially offer more accurate and helpful information for my studies.

I have used Chegg.com off and on for years, every time I cancel my account, a couple of months go by and then they start charging me again. They refused to give refunds because on their side there is 'no history of cancellation'. This is a reoccuring scam, I'm guessing they wait two or three months and start charging you again, hoping most people don't check their statements. Additionally, the last couple of times I have used chegg, most of the help/answers have been wrong. The manager “Jeffery/ Jeremy” is a rude and money hungry.

When my package was nowhere to be found after being marked delivered (likely the result of a theft and in no way the fault of Chegg) I was worried that I would have to pay the price of the book since it was rented. However, the helpful customer service associates assured me that not only would I not have to pay for the lost book but I would receive a full refund.

Price

Sold me beat up used previous edition of a paperback textbook, then claimed that it was a rental that had to be returned unless I paid about the same as full price for a new, current textbook. Their responses make it clear that they do this all of the time. Interested in helping with a class-action lawsuit and/or assisting the attorney general from any state to stop this practice.

This trashy company made me pay extra to have a book delivered the day before my class. I tracked the package and called UPS, it hadn't even left the seller. No response when I called customer service. I seriously think this website should be shut down for fraud. Shame on them for taking advantage of people.
